Gina Kellogg started The Success Story Pro after seeing the lack of resources available to her clients who were seeking professional storytellers to describe the successes of their businesses. She knew more customers needed resources to create case studies, white papers, industry articles, testimonials and other story-focused marketing materials.

Gina Kellogg’s background includes positions as a journalist, magazine editor, editorial manager and director of communications. These roles have provided her with the experience to create compelling and convincing stories in a variety of formats for her clients.

But Gina began telling stories long before her first job as a journalist. Her first taste of being a “published” writer came in a third-grade when her teacher bound a “book” of one of Gina’s stories. She hasn’t stopped writing since.

Gina’s qualifications are extensive:

Writing Education: She earned dual degrees from the University of Kansas (Lawrence, Kan.): One in journalism from the prestigious William Allen White School of Journalism, and a second bachelor’s degree in English. She gained valuable experience telling stories in her work on the campus newspaper and literary journal. She even won a short-story-writing contest for a national magazine for college-aged women.

Writing Experience. Gina’s career as a professional writer started with her first job out of college at a major trade-publishing company. Over the years, she worked her way up the editorial ladder with positions on a variety of industry-focused publications. Business sectors she covered included facilities engineering, materials-handling, golf-course maintenance, scaffolding, floristry, flooring sealants and adhesives, garden-center retailing and professional window-cleaning.

Writing Expertise. With The Success Story Pro, Gina is able to draw on her background as a professional journalist to create captivating stories that capture customers’ interest. She is able to quickly overview the key benefits of her clients’ products and services to deliver stories that persuade prospects to learn more and help businesses turn leads into sales.

Gina also maintains a website for clients needing content writing, copywriting, social media and SEO services under her Hott Cornflakes Communications brand.

At home, Gina enjoys creating in other ways beyond the written word. She and her husband spend time on home-improvement projects, landscaping and furniture renovation. She lives with her husband in Overland Park, Kan. (a suburb of Kansas City Mo.).
